The MIT Sloan School of Management, is one of the world’s leading business schools – conducting cutting-edge research and providing management education to top students from more than 60 countries.
Objective
Thirst worked with The MIT Sloan School of Management to develop and implement a strategy to migrate all of Sloan’s student, alumni, faculty and staff data to a dynamically published Internet system.
Noteworthy
Thirst used Allaire ColdFusion, Oracle’s 8.05 database, and Netscape Enterprise Server to deliver a searchable directory, accessible and manageable through a standard web browser. Continuing development will unify Sloan’s management of the IT resources by deploying an LDAP server, connected to the Oracle Database.
